Jackie Beck and her husband are empty nesters who moved to West Michigan a little over 3 years ago. She lived in West Michigan as a child (until her parents moved the family) and loves being back! She has a son that she’s very proud of, and two rescue dogs.
Jackie has been strictly self-employed since 2014, running a profitable small business as personal finance blogger. She is the creator of one of the first debt snowball apps ever, and has helped encourage and motivate thousands to improve their financial situation. Prior to that, she worked in both startups and the corporate world.
She has a Master of Education degree in educational media & computers, and enjoys DIY, travel, photography, and creating art. Her artwork was recently chosen to be a part of the Ottawa County Art Trust’s permanent collection.
She is frugal, straightforward, and kind. Some of her best qualities are the ability to see things from multiple points of view, being detail-oriented and thorough, and remaining calm under pressure.
Her goal is to bring these qualities to bear as Supervisor on the Board of Trustees, so that Park Township can continue to be such a fabulous place to live. She wants to maintain the existing character of the township, and believes that your input into local government matters.
She would love your vote in the November 5th general election.
